OUR MISSION
The mission of SoR|A is to unify advocates of Reading Science in their pursuit of curating the ongoing research and translating it into meaningful use in the classroom.
We will accomplish this by:

Centralizing and making freely accessible Science of Reading information, research, and resources.

Facilitating connections between Reading Science experts, educators, advocates, and policymakers.

Fostering critical thinking and discussion of relevant Reading Science topics and resources.
OUR PURPOSE
The purpose of SoR|A is to connect Reading Science experts, educators, administrators, advocates, and policymakers in an objective venue where the “Science of Reading” research can be gathered, examined, analyzed, and discussed in a transparent and productive manner. The targeted objective is to enable Reading Science allies a forum to sift through the body of Reading Science research and ultimately curate evidence-based reading instruction methods and intervention that can be applied effectively and equitably in classrooms to facilitate the development of skilled readers until every child reads.
